Our waterways are like arteries and veins for the earth. They should bring life to everything they touch. But disruptors such as litter and chemical run-off negatively affect aquatic ecosystems and all life that relies on them.
The Land Trust for Tennessee is dedicated to conserving Tennessee’s unique natural and historic landscapes and sites for future generations. They exemplify that mission with their stewardship of The Land Trust for Tennessee’s Glen Leven Farm, a historic 64-acre farm 4 miles south of downtown Nashville. The Land Trust for Tennessee’s Glen Leven Farm features forest, open fields, and the east fork of Brown’s Creek, which runs into the Cumberland River and Cheatham Reservoir, the source of much of Nashville’s water.
Join us and The Land Trust for Tennessee to make a splash with a series of Brown’s Creek Cleanup events. During this limited volunteering series, we’ll practice responsible and sustainable land and water management strategies that you can implement in your own community.
